Terms of Service

1. Services

Ontario HVAC Design Inc. provides mechanical engineering design services including HVAC design, plumbing design, energy modelling, and ventilation design for residential and commercial projects in Ontario. Services are provided on a project-by-project basis as agreed in a written quote.

2. Quotes & Fees

Fees are as quoted in writing prior to project commencement. Payment is due upon delivery of completed drawings unless otherwise agreed. Projects are not released for submission until payment is received. Rush fees apply to projects requiring turnaround shorter than 3 business days.

3. Deliverables & Revisions

Deliverables are as specified in the project quote. Standard residential deliverables include stamped PDF drawing sets and associated calculation reports. Drawings are delivered electronically via email or secure file transfer. Physical prints are not included unless specifically quoted.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete architectural drawings, building specifications, and project information. Ontario HVAC Design Inc. is not responsible for design errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

5. Intellectual Property

Completed stamped drawings are provided for the client's use on the specified project. Ontario HVAC Design Inc. retains ownership of all design calculations, models, and working documents. Drawings may not be reused on other projects without written authorization.

6. Limitation of Liability

Ontario HVAC Design Inc.'s liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific project. We are not liable for consequential damages, construction delays, or permit refusals resulting from factors outside our control, including inaccurate client-supplied information or changes to municipal requirements.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
