We are here to make your building project code-compliant
What we do:
We provide the required designs for your building permit applications. These are not limited but including Heat Loss and Heat Gain Load, Duct Design Drawings, Ventilation Reports.
A building permit is a document issued by the body responsible for enforcing Ontario’s Building Code in your area. A building permit is necessary when you wish to construct, renovate, demolish or change the use of a building.
Building Code enforcement, including issuing building permits, is generally carried out by municipal building departments, although in the case of on-site sewage systems, enforcement in some areas is conducted by boards of health and conservation authorities.
Heat loss and gain calculations includes examining not only above and below grade HLHG, air leakage and ventilation, but also the influence that people, appliances and window shading have on the system.
Duct design and drawings need to conform to the Ontario Building Code, SMACNA, HRAI and ASHRAE standards.
Ventilation Design Summary is needed for your building permit application.
Heat recovery ventilation (HRV) is an energy recovery ventilation system. These systems include equipment such as a heat recovery ventilator, heat-air exchanger, or air-to-air heat exchanger.
